Understanding Our Cancellation and Refund Terms

Overview

At Hotel Kaiser Bridge, we understand that travel plans can change. This cancellation policy outlines the terms and conditions for canceling or modifying your reservation.

Important: Cancellation terms may vary depending on the rate plan selected and the time of year. Please review your booking confirmation for specific terms applicable to your reservation.

Standard Cancellation Policy

Free Cancellation Period

Cancellations received 30 days prior to arrival are free of a charge

  • Full refund of any deposit paid
  • No cancellation fees apply
  • Cancellation can be made online, by email, or by phone

Cancellations received between 30 days – 7 days

7 to 30 days before arrival:

  • Are subject to a cancellation fee of 30% of the total agreed price of the reservation
  • Written cancellation required (email accepted)

Cancellation received between 7 days – 3 days

Between 7 days – 3 days

  • Are subject to a cancellation fee of 70% of the total agreed price of the reservation.

Cancellation received between 3 days and arrival time

3 days and arrival time

  • Are subject to a cancellation fee of 100% of the total agreed price of the reservation.

Non-show

Non-show fee

  • Non-show fee is subject to a cancellation fee of 100% of the total agreed price of the reservation.

Peak Season Policy

July 1 - August 31 (High Season):

During peak season, stricter cancellation terms apply:

  • More than 21 days before arrival: Full refund
  • 14 to 21 days before arrival: 50% charge
  • Less than 14 days before arrival: 100% charge (no refund)

Non-Refundable Rates

Some special promotional rates are non-refundable and cannot be canceled or modified. These bookings:

  • Must be paid in full at the time of booking
  • Cannot be canceled for any refund
  • Cannot be modified or transferred
  • Offer the lowest available rates in exchange for this restriction

Non-refundable bookings will be clearly marked during the booking process.

Group Bookings

Reservations for 4 or more rooms:

Group bookings require special terms and conditions:

  • A deposit of 50% is required at the time of booking
  • Cancellation must be made at least 30 days before arrival for full refund
  • Cancellations within 30 days forfeit the full deposit
  • Individual room cancellations within a group may be possible with 21 days notice

How to Cancel

Online Cancellation

If you booked through our website, you can cancel online using your booking reference number at booking.corfuhotelkaiser.com

Email Cancellation

Send an email to info@corfuhotelkaiser.com with:

  • Your booking reference number
  • Guest name
  • Arrival date
  • Reason for cancellation (optional)

Phone Cancellation

Call us at +30 26610 72096 during business hours (9:00 AM - 8:00 PM Greek time)

Cancellation Confirmation

You will receive a cancellation confirmation email within 24 hours. Please retain this for your records.

Modifications

Date Changes

Subject to availability, you may modify your reservation dates:

  • More than 14 days before arrival: Free modification
  • 7 to 14 days before arrival: Subject to rate difference
  • Less than 7 days before arrival: Treated as cancellation + new booking

Room Changes

Changes to room type are subject to availability and may incur additional charges if upgrading to a higher category.

Guest Name Changes

Changes to the guest name are permitted free of charge up to 48 hours before arrival.

Refund Process

Refund Timeline:

  • Eligible refunds are processed within 7-10 business days
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method
  • Credit card refunds may take 5-10 additional business days to appear on your statement
  • Bank transfer refunds may take 3-5 business days

No-Show Policy

If you do not arrive on your scheduled check-in date and have not canceled your reservation:

  • You will be charged 100% of the total booking value
  • The reservation will be automatically canceled
  • No refund will be issued

If you know you will be late, please contact us. We can hold your reservation with advance notice.

Early Departure

If you check out earlier than your scheduled departure date:

  • No refund will be issued for unused nights
  • The full original booking amount remains charged
  • In exceptional circumstances, we may offer a partial credit at management's discretion

Exceptional Circumstances

We understand that sometimes extraordinary situations arise. In cases of:

  • Medical emergencies (with documentation)
  • Natural disasters
  • Government travel restrictions
  • Other force majeure events

Please contact us directly. We will review your situation and may waive cancellation fees or offer alternative arrangements on a case-by-case basis.

Documentation may be required (medical certificate, official travel advisory, etc.)

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your booking against unforeseen circumstances. Travel insurance typically covers:

  • Trip cancellation
  • Medical emergencies
  • Travel delays
  • Lost luggage

Many travel insurance providers offer "cancel for any reason" policies that provide more flexibility than standard hotel cancellation policies.

Third-Party Bookings

If you booked through a third-party website or travel agent:

  • You must cancel through the original booking channel
  • Third-party cancellation policies may differ from ours
  • Refunds are processed by the booking agent, not the hotel
  • The hotel cannot modify or cancel third-party reservations
